How to know which clinic is right for my child?

No one can predict if a speech therapy clinic will be a great match for your child right off the bat. If you’re struggling with which clinic or name in the phonebook is best for your child or a child you know, try to gather additional information online. If the clinic has a Facebook page, check it out for relevant events or to see comments from current families that attend the clinic. Are they praising the services? Are they involved in the clinic community? If the clinic is not on Facebook, call to inquire about a screening. A screening might be available for a short visit to determine if an evaluation is necessary. This might give you a good sense of the clinic space, staff and their office procedures.
