I am a Speech & Language Pathologist in Brooklyn, NY. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Speech, Language, and Hearing Disorders from Boston University, and my Master’s degree in Communicative Sciences and Disorders from New York University. I am a New York State licenced SLP, hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech, Language, and Hearing Association (ASHA), and have a New York State Teachers of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD) certificate. I have 6+ years experience providing diagnostic and therapeutic services working for the New York City Department of Education, in private practice settings, and in outpatient and hospital settings. I currently work with children and adolescents with learning disabilities, articulation and phonological disorders, dyslexia, executive function disorder, Autism Spectrum Disoders, Apraxia of speech, and neurological disorders. I am trained in Alternative & Augmentative Communication (AAC), Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), Structured Methods in Language Education (SMiLE), Orton-Gillingham reading program, and behavior management.
I believe therapy is continuous, and am dedicated to giving you and your child the foundational skills to generalize across all environments. I am committed to easing the struggle of communication, and focusing on overall independence for your child.
