Hello! My name is Michelle Krovlev and I am a New York state certified speech-language pathologist. I have worked as an SLP with children in a variety of settings, including private practice, private schools, and special education schools in New York City. I am also a certified Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD) and trained in PROMPT therapy for articulation and motor speech impairments. I earned my M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology at Columbia University, and my B.A. from the University of Maryland. I have worked with clients with speech-language impairments from infancy up through adulthood, and currently hold a daytime position as a speech therapist in a special education elementary school.
I am happy to travel to your home to work with your child on their speech-language development. I have experience providing therapy and evaluations for clients with articulation and phonological impairments, autism and learning disabilities, language delay, literacy issues, auditory processing and comprehension difficulties, and feeding/swallowing troubles. I aim to create fun, enjoyable activities that tie in a client's interests as well as target their speech goals.
