I am a certified Speech Language Pathologist and the founder & practicing clinician for Abletalk Speech & Language Therapy, based in Cary, NC & serving the pediatric population in the triangle area. I hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and am licensed by the North Carolina Board of Examiners in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology.
I have worked with hundreds of children over the years in daycares, homes, & school settings & am dedicated to continuing education and the acquisition of advanced skills. At Abletalk, the focus is on the abilities and achieving maximum potential of each individual. In addition, I encourage parental input and understand the importance of forming partnerships with the families I serve. Human connection is the most essential part of the human experience. I have a passion for helping others communicate more effectively and find true joy in each client’s progress and success. Motivated by my own 8 year-old son, I dedicate my time to programs that go beyond traditional therapy for children. I have a myriad of experience working with speech sound & phonological disorders, apraxia, stuttering, swallowing, language delays, hearing & visual impairments, developmental disabilities including autism, down sysndrome, & sensory processing disorders & more.
