Rishi Pal (MSc-AIISH) a Speech Language Pathologist cum Audiologist who has been dealing with children and adults with communication problems. He is a licensed practitioner, registered with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI), which is the governing body for Audiologists and Speech Therapists in India.
Rishi Pal has provided therapy in a variety of clinical settings, addressing the needs of preschool toddlers, school children, teenagers, adults and the elderly.
He is a dedicated and caring professional who enjoys working with young children and their families. He seeks to provide personalized therapy to help the children/adults achieve their communication goals.
He has extensive experience in the diagnosis and intervention of children with a variety of communication disorders. He has particular interest in, and experience with, children who have Delayed speech & language, Motor speech disorders (apraxia/articulation disorders), Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), Early onset fluency challenges, Sensory Integration disorders, Stammering, Cluttering, Misarticulation, AVT, Mental retardation, Cerebral palsy, cleft palate, Laryngectomy, Learning disability (dyslexia), Dysarthrias, Aphasia, Early-literacy issues, and social-pragmatic difficulties. He has good hands on ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) and use this evidence based techniques to plan language programs, behavior modification plans and teaching procedures. To impart high quality individualized therapy all teaching is 1:1. As the child progresses group programs are added or recommended. All teaching is done so as to generalize learning across people and settings. Appropriate use of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)-PECS systems for clients with communication disorders are also used as per the child requirement and to teach Activity of Daily Living (ADL).
