Amanda Kaufmann M.S. CCC-SLP received a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Science and Disorders from the University of Pittsburgh and a Master of Science in Speech Pathology from Salus University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA), is licensed as a speech-language pathologist by the California Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispenser Board, and is PROMPT (Prompts for Restructuring Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets) trained.
Amanda has experience in evaluating and treating expressive and receptive language delays, language and auditory processing disorders, fluency disorders, social communication (pragmatic) disorders, childhood apraxia of speech, motor speech disorders, and articulation and phonological disorders. She has worked with various populations including early intervention, autism spectrum disorder, cerebral palsy, and Down syndrome.
AK Speech and Language evaluates and treats children with a variety of disorders including: expressive and receptive language delays, language and auditory processing disorders, fluency /voice disorders, social communication (pragmatic) disorders, childhood apraxia of speech, motor speech disorders, articulation and phonological disorders, autism spectrum disorder, and Down syndrome, and other developmental delays.
Services include phone consultations, screenings, evaluations, teletherapy, and in-person sessions (outdoors only at this time).
