Samantha Rinato is a licensed and certified speech-language pathologist since September 2014. She has experience working with clients infants-adolescence, who present with a variety of speech and language impairments and delays. She has unique experience working with children who are on the Autism Spectrum. Currently, she provides speech services to elementary students at a public school in Brooklyn, New York. In addition, Samantha has previously worked for Early Intervention agencies. To obtain an education in speech-language pathology, she attended Brooklyn College for both her Bachelor's and Master's degrees. Brooklyn College is highly regarded for their master's program in speech-language pathology. As a student clinician at the Brooklyn College speech clinic, Samantha worked with clients who presented with fluency disorders (e.g., stuttering, cluttering), aphasia (stroke patients), voice disorders, and other speech and language impairments secondary to developmental disabilities (e.g., Down's Syndrome), etc. During this time, she was a speech therapy intern at an Occupational Training School for high school students with severe disabilities. She also interned at a pre-school for children with severe disabilities. Her experiences with clients from different age groups, who have a range of disorders, has allowed her to be a flexible clinician with a broad knowledge base.
