Amy Kantor, MS, CCC-SLP, TSSLD, M.Ed, MA has over seventeen years of experience as a certified and licensed speech and language pathologist. She has been working with children from infanthood through late school age with a wide variety of diagnoses and speech and language difficulties. She received two master’s degrees from Teachers College, Columbia University, with an MS in speech and language pathology and an M.Ed (Masters in Education) and MA in psychological counseling for her extensive work and focus on teaching children, parent education, and counseling regarding childhood development and all parenting needs and concerns. She has worked with children of all ages and families providing developmental education, training, and counseling in addition to her seventeen years as a speech and language clinician. Amy has worked in multiple settings including schools, center-based programs, outpatient clinics, and hospitals as well as for Early Intervention and private clinics.
Amy has been called an “expert on all types of pediatric speech and language disorders” by her colleagues. She has specialized training working with children with feeding difficulties and swallowing disorders, specific language impairment including comprehension difficulties and/or expressive language deficits, articulation/phonological processing disorders, pragmatic and social language issues, and autism spectrum disorders.
