Just in time for summer, Speech Buddies University<\/a> will be hosting an easy online webinar series beginning June 24 designed to keep kids’ speech skills strong over the long break. We asked Gordy Rogers, M.S. CCC-SLP, Speech Buddies Co-founder and Summer Kick-Start facilitator to answer five quick questions about the upcoming session.<\/p>\n

Who’s Summer Kick-Start Program for and what will be covered?<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Kick-Start Program<\/a> is a guided week-long web-based program (just 20 minutes a day) for parents to help children with a speech difficulty make progress. Whether you’re already using a Speech Buddy or if you just purchased one this week, the Kick-Start Program is for anyone who’s interested in learning how to use Speech Buddies effectively. I\u2019ll guide parents on tips & tricks for engaging your child and walk through our online exercise platform, Speech Buddies University.<\/p>\n

Why an online format for the training session?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Speech Buddies are simple, yet very effective tools that help children overcome speech difficulties twice as fast. We think providing an easy, brief and accessible online forum for parents to ask and receive answers to their common questions will provide them with the confidence they need to put their child’s speech difficulties behind them for good.<\/p>\n

What’s one thing parents and students will be able to say they’ve accomplished at the end of the week?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

I think parents will be able to guide their children effectively and make a lot of progress in correcting their child\u2019s speech sound difficulties by the end of the week. I hope your child will feel proud of the progress he\u2019s making!\u00a0 Plus, the games on Speech Buddies University are fun and easy to do together.<\/p>\n

What if they don’t have time to attend the session starting June 24?<\/strong><\/p>\n
