Get your summer started off right and your children speaking clearer the the Summer Kick-Start Program from Speech Buddies University<\/a>. If you’ve found yourself needing some extra guidance when it comes to using Speech Buddies, this program is for you. From your own home computer and with guided instruction you’re sure to see improvements and feel great about using Speech Buddies this summer.<\/p>\n

The Kick-Start Program is a guided week-long program that (in just 20 minutes a day!) will\u00a0help parents and children with a speech disorder make progress on their own at home. This could be in addition to therapy, as a replacement while on summer<\/a> break<\/a>, or as a stand-alone practice regimen.\u00a0Give your\u00a0children the tools they need to be confident and articulate. Here’s what the program includes:<\/p>\n

Summer Kick-Start Program, June 24-28 <\/strong>

\nDay 1: One-Hour Web-Based Speech Buddies Training
\n<\/strong>Monday, June 24, 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. (EDT) | <\/strong>11 a.m. to\u00a0Noon\u00a0(PDT)<\/strong>
\nGordy Rogers, M.S. CCC-SLP and Co-Founder of Articulate Technologies, Inc., will offer tips and tricks for using Speech Buddies with your child. He will then provide a detailed introduction to Speech Buddies University, our online exercise platform.

\nDays 2, 3, & 4: Practice Speech Buddies\u00a0on Your Own at Home for 20 Minutes
\nJune 25-27<\/strong>
\nWe’ll provide detailed lesson plans on Speech Buddies University for you and your child.
\n
\nDay 5: One-Hour Web-Based\u00a0Wrap-Up\u00a0Session
\n<\/strong>Friday, June 28, <\/strong>2 p.m. to 3 p.m. (EDT) | 11 a.m. to\u00a0Noon\u00a0(PDT)<\/strong>

You’ll receive web based instruction and tips from Gordy Rogers, M.S. CCC-SLP, Co-founder and Chief Scientific Officer at Articulate Technologies. Gordy is principal investigator for all Speech Buddies\u2019 clinical efficacy programs and is a regular contributor to the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association\u2019s research and commercial programs. His clinical practice at Village Speech Solutions in New York City focuses on speech and articulation disorders for preschool and school-aged children. Gordy earned his Bachelor of Arts in linguistics from Yale University and his Master of Science in speech-language pathology from Teachers College at Columbia University. He lives in New York City with his wife and two children.<\/p>\n
